They're goin' to the chapel and they're gonna get married...

It is time to become Very Reclusive. I simply am going to have to close the door, bury my head in VK2, not answer the phone (unless it is about my brother Tommy, for he is having a procedure this wednesday-keep your thoughts on him, please?), be very focused, let VK in to tell her story, batten down the hatches (is that how you spell batten?). Yes, even more than before. I've let myself become distracted by things and time for distraction is O V E R! lawdy be! Time is a-wastin'.
I do have wonderful news that I don't think I have shared here. My son is getting married and the wedding is coming up soon. I adore his fiance and his fiance's family. I'm happy for him and hope their marriage is one of love and support and friendship. My son is nearing 30 and she is 31, so they aren't babes in the woods, but they are my babes so I am excited and happy and all those other kinds of feelings.
I like coming by here in the morning and making a quick post, but I do understand if you all get sick of riding by here, honking and waving, and I don't even come out the door (laughing)....but I do read every one of your comments and love them, so if you do still come by, please know how much I enjoy reading them and how they help me to stay connected to things. The more "reclusive" I become, the more I love knowing you all are "out there." *muwah!*
Now....time to get out of my robe and slippers, take a quick walk, grab my yogurt fruit nuts, and Get To Work....
What are you working on? What good news do you have? How many licks does it take to get to the center of a Tootsie Roll Tootsie Pop? (teeheee)

First let me say Congrats on the news of your son's impending nuptials! How exciting for your family! Second, I will definitely be keeping your brother in my thoughts and prayers! And finally, you take care of yourself and know that I'll be out here cheering you on! Have a great day!

Well, today I am working on all the details for a band reception for between 200 and 300 people that is being held tonight. How much ginger ale and sherbet do you have to mix together to quench the thirst of that many people?
I am happy about the upcoming nuptials in your family. I assume that is terribly exciting but it is a path I haven't traveled yet! Oh, my son got the internship with the Nat. Park at Sugarlands this summer. If you get busy on VK2, maybe I can hitch a ride with him one day and visit you:)

I decorated my Serenity Room all day Sunday and posted the pic on my blog, so I'm pretty contented with my handiwork. Blessings!

Kat - Congrats to your son! Healing mercies to your brother.

You're my fav blog to read every day, you cheer me up.

I'm singing in the choir tonight for a memorial service for a woman at our church who passed last week. It is a celebration of her life with music. Amazing Grace!

Yay for more writing! I get distracted easily too.

Last week I went a little crazy and completed a full (BIG CHANGES) in four days. It was nuts... now I have to go through some editing runs and see if it makes any sense LOL

Woohoo! Congrats on the wedding.

Kathryn Magendie, you've been saying you're going to reclusitize yourself. I don't see it happening. LOL!

Have I mentioned that I love your labels?

Hugs to your brother and his Seestor - congratulations to your son and his bride-to-be.

And please get busy, Kathryn. Check out my Twitter feed. I said I'm reading Tender Graces very slowly, and I keep wanting to read it aloud, because the prose is so beautiful. Nonetheless, I will finish reading it one of these days, and then I'll be looking for VK2.

Congrats on your son's wedding!
