I'm Home & a Fun Interview/Give a way at the Tartitude's House

Mt Hood taken from airplane
Hi Y'all --- arrived home yesterday evening without my luggage! yipes! Yup, it's the first time I've ever had lost luggage. GMR bought me a new toothbrush and we headed home . . . without my luggage. Did I say I do not have luggage? *laugh*

I have much to catch up on, but for now I am a bit whoogly in the head. Today was to be a guest blog for a new young writer, Tamara Hart Heiner, whose book image/photo is to the left, but I'm waiting on something from her, so I'll post that later.

However, I am over at the Taritude's House - she did a wonderful 'interview' with me with these really interesting questions - and she's having a give-away of Tender Graces and then in Part II of Sweetie. Head over and say hello or ask a question and check out her blog -it's a cool place.

Meanwhile, I need a nap even though it is still morning *laugh*

Welcome home, cher! Bummer about your luggage, but I've been there, and it's par for the course, these days. Looking forward to the interview!

Welcome home! May your reentry be smooth and the sadness of leaving family behind short. I hope your luggage finds you soon. :-)

Oh, Kathryn I had luggage lost when my hubbie and I went on a business trip. The first evening was a nice supper/meeting-we had to go in our blue jeans! Yep, we bought toothbrushes. :P

Welcome home, Kat. The only time (so far) that my luggage got lost, it was full of Mexican food -- frozen. That was back in the days when you simply couldn't get Mexican food up here, so whenever I traveled to the U.S. I would stock up.

The lost luggage tale that has become family history occurred when The Daughter was on a research trip to the States to write her Uni Dissertation. She was lugging everything in her huge rucksack. She changed planes in New York for an internal flight and when she disembarked at her final destination her rucksack didn't. We got a fax from her saying that she didn't even have a spare pair of knickers - her idea of hell! The crazy thing was her rucksack design was "camouflage" - obviously this was so effective a design that the airline couldn't see it. They redeemed themselves by finding it within 24 hours and delivering it to her lodgings - the rucksack sitting resplendently on the back seat of a Limo. I hope your lostluggage is found an delivered back to you in similar fashion.

Nothing could be finer than to be in Carolina. Wait, qualify that, a little luggage and then comes the finer.
